Planned Parenthood Keystone is offering free Rapid HIV testing at all 15 of its medical centers on Monday, June 27th.
Planned Parenthood is one of the nation’s leading HIV testing providers. Patients who come in for an HIV test are counseled about the potential results of the test. Once the initial results are obtained, patients are counseled again about those results. If a positive result is obtained, then a follow up test will be performed to confirm those results at no additional cost to the patient. If a negative result is obtained, the patient is encouraged to re-test at a later date which coincides to three months following their potential exposure.
