Vows of Valor Gala to Honor Military Families and Give the Gift of a Wedding Celebration

November 20 fundraiser at The Armory will support all-expenses-paid weddings for military and veteran families.

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA The Armory Arts and Historical Preservation Society will host its Vows of Valor Gala on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at The Armory in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

The event will bring together community members, local businesses, and military families for an evening celebrating love, service, and sacrifice. 100% of event proceeds will benefit Vows of Valor, an initiative that provides deserving military and veteran families with all-expenses-paid wedding celebrations.

Celebrating Love, Family, and Service

For many military couples, the sacrifices of service extend beyond deployments and time apart. Financial challenges and military commitments often mean postponing or sacrificing the wedding celebration they once imagined.

“Over the years, we’ve toured hundreds of couples through The Armory and heard countless stories of how military service impacted their wedding plans,” said Kasie Romagno, Owner of The Armory. “Some couples simply couldn’t afford to celebrate, while others had to put their dreams aside because of their commitment to our country.”

“We believe a wedding celebrates more than two people. It’s an opportunity to honor an entire family’s commitment to our country. Through Vows of Valor, we celebrate their marriage, their love, their family, and their service by giving them a moment that is entirely about them.”

A Love Story Worth Celebrating

The 2026 Vows of Valor recipients, Talon, a United States Navy veteran, and his wife, experienced these sacrifices firsthand.

After becoming engaged following Talon’s graduation from Navy boot camp, the couple’s wedding dreams were put aside as military life took priority. They ultimately eloped with their dogs by their side and family watching through FaceTime.

Six years, multiple moves, deployments, and two children later, the family has settled in Northeast Pennsylvania. Through Vows of Valor, they will finally have the opportunity to celebrate their marriage surrounded by the family and friends who supported them along the way.
