The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) announced that St. Luke’s University is one of the Most Wired health care systems in the nation, earning Level 9 ratings for both acute and ambulatory care for the 14th straight year.
The 2026 Digital Health Most Wired program recognition reflects the Network’s excellence in use of technology, data and digital tools to support health care delivery.
“Earning Most Wired recognition for the 14th consecutive year reflects St. Luke’s long-term commitment to using technology to improve the way we care for our patients,” said Chad Brisendine, Chief Information Officer at St. Luke’s. “From cybersecurity and infrastructure to artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, our focus is on giving our clinicians secure, reliable and innovative tools that help them deliver the highest quality care.”
The 2026 Digital Health Most Wired Survey is an internationally recognized benchmarking program that honors excellence in digitally enabled health care. The program serves as a comprehensive evaluation and digital maturity report card for health care organizations across the globe. As success in digital transformation increasingly influences the quality and accessibility of care, this recognition program reflects the progress of leading health care providers as they reshape the future of health care.
St. Luke’s distinguished itself by ranking above peers in seven key focus areas: clinical quality/safety, analytics/data management, cybersecurity, population health, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation.
As health care organizations continue to face complex challenges in rising cybersecurity threats, evolving care models, workforce shortages and budget constraints, the need to accelerate digital transformation has never been more urgent.
Over the next several decades, emerging technologies will revolutionize care delivery in fundamental ways. Innovations powered by interoperable data, artificial intelligence, and secure digital infrastructure are poised to redefine the digital health landscape. Navigating this evolution will require sustained commitment and a clear, strategic roadmap.

Additionally, the St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences opened in 2026.
In a 2025 study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, St. Luke’s received the highest quality score of the nation’s three highest performing health systems. This objective recognition, based on public data reported to the government, reaffirms St. Luke’s preeminent position as THE BEST OF THE BEST among the most respected health care systems in the United States.
St. Luke’s has been named a Leapfrog Group Top Hospital and a Newsweek World’s Best Hospital. In 2026, all of the Network’s eligible hospital campuses were awarded Medicare’s highest ratings for quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction. The Network also earned straight A’s for safety from Leapfrog across all of its acute care hospitals. It has earned 100 Top Hospital designations from Premier 12 years in a row, including in 2026 when the Network was identified as THE #1 MEDIUM-SIZE HEALTH SYSTEM IN THE COUNTRY. Utilizing the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system for both inpatient and outpatient services, the Network is a multi-year recipient of the Most Wired award recognizing the breadth of SLUHN’s information technology applications such as telehealth, online scheduling and online pricing information.
