Lehigh Valley, PA – The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Veterans & Military Council, Valley Health Partners Veteran Health Program and Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health will host their annual Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Taking place from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Kasych Family Pavilion, this special ceremony will recognize the veterans who have served our nation and reflect on the impact of their contributions throughout the years.
Veterans Day is an important reminder that freedom comes with a tremendous cost, and that we have a responsibility to honor those who have answered the call to serve. The ceremony is an opportunity for the Lehigh Valley community to come together in gratitude and recognize the dedication, courage and sacrifices of local veterans and their families.
The event will feature Chris Kuhns, a military historian and Director of the Pennsylvania Military Museum. A Veteran and former member of Pennsylvania’s 193rd Special Operations Wing, he served 10 years in the military. Originally from the Lehigh Valley, he continues to preserve and educate others about America’s military history.
As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we invite our community to honor the generations of veterans whose service has helped shape the country we know today. Their commitment to our nation is an important part of America’s story and deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
All Lehigh Valley Veterans and community members are invited to attend, and veterans who RSVP will receive an exclusive commemorative gift. Guests are also invited to stay for light refreshments following the program.
