Allentown, Pa. — Oct. 30, 2026 — While most costumed Halloween characters tend to be spooky, Jefferson Health’s tiniest patients are proving that there are no tricks, only treats, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). Staff at Jefferson’s Lehigh Valley hospitals dressed the babies in adorable Halloween-themed outfits and presented commemorative keepsakes to their families.
This annual tradition provides parents and caregivers a welcome moment of joy, normalcy and celebration during a stressful and challenging time. It reflects the compassion and support NICU teams provide while creating cherished memories that last long after the infants go home.
