Christmas at Belleville Returns to Downtown Easton with Holiday Traditions, Seasonal Gatherings, and Community Giving

Easton’s neighborhood department store welcomes the season November 5 with its annual Holiday Open House, festive experiences, and the return of its holiday giving partnership with ProJeCt of Easton.

EASTON, PA — The holidays start at Belleville.

Beginning Thursday, November 5, Belleville Market will welcome the Christmas season with a fully transformed shopping experience, thoughtfully curated holiday collections, and a calendar of gatherings celebrating the spirit of the season in historic downtown Easton.

Located at 20 S. Third Street, the approximately 10,000-square-foot neighborhood department store brings together independent merchants, local makers, and established national and international brands beneath one roof. Throughout the holidays, the Market takes on an especially festive character, with decorated spaces, seasonal displays, distinctive gifts, and opportunities for guests to shop, gather, and discover.

From traditional ornaments and entertaining essentials to gourmet foods, apparel, home décor, and unexpected treasures, Christmas at Belleville offers a refreshing approach to holiday shopping, rooted in the traditions of the neighborhood department store and inspired by the atmosphere of European Christmas markets.

“Christmas has always been one of our favorite times of year at Belleville,” said Derrick Clark,

co-founder of Belleville Market. “We love the traditions that bring people together, whether it’s families returning to see their favorite decorations, neighbors gathering for an evening of shopping, or discovering that perfect gift from one of our merchants. We want Belleville to be a place where people enjoy the season, not simply shop for it.”

A Season of Gatherings at Belleville

Holiday Open House | Thursday, November 5, 5–8 PM

Belleville’s annual Holiday Open House officially welcomes the Christmas season with an evening of festive shopping, Christmas music performed live by Melody Cruz, complimentary holiday photos with Santa, special tastings, and demonstrations throughout the Market.

Guests can explore the newly unveiled Christmas collections, meet participating merchants and makers, and enjoy seasonal activities, including a holiday watercolor experience hosted by Harmony Girl Charm, where visitors can create hand-painted gift tags and greeting cards.

Krampus Night | Friday, December 4, 6–8 PM

One of Belleville’s most distinctive holiday traditions returns for an evening inspired by the European folklore of Krampusnacht. Guests can meet and take photographs with Krampus, enjoy complimentary tastings from Vault Brewing, and explore the Market after dark for an evening of festive mischief and holiday shopping.

Neighbors Night | Thursday, December 17, 6–8 PM

An evening dedicated to the Easton community, Neighbors Night invites guests to enjoy relaxed holiday shopping, special tastings, and product demonstrations while supporting a local cause. Belleville will donate 10% of the evening’s sales to ProJeCt of Easton, in addition to its seasonal customer round-up contributions and matching donations.

All three in-store holiday gatherings are free and open to the public.

Giving Back to the Community We Call Home

In the spirit of the season, Belleville Market is renewing its holiday giving partnership with ProJeCt of Easton, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families build brighter, more independent futures.

From November 5, 2026, through January 31, 2027, guests shopping in-store will be invited to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with the additional change benefiting ProJeCt of Easton.

Belleville Market will match all customer round-up donations made in-store, dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of each contribution.

Founded in 1968, ProJeCt of Easton has served the community for more than five decades, providing essential services that include adult education, family literacy, school-based programs, food assistance, and emergency support. Through these efforts, the organization helps individuals and families overcome barriers, build stability, and create opportunities for lasting change.

The returning partnership reflects Belleville’s belief that being a neighborhood department store means more than providing a place to shop. It means taking an active role in the community, supporting the people who call it home, and finding meaningful ways to give back.

Beyond the Market

Christmas at Belleville extends beyond downtown Easton this year, with the Market returning to Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem at SteelStacks, November 13 through December 20. Visitors will discover a specially curated selection of gifts, gourmet treats, home goods, and seasonal favorites from Belleville alongside the many artisans and retailers participating in the annual holiday market.

Throughout November and December, Belleville will also host seasonal tastings and merchant-led experiences, offering additional opportunities to discover local businesses, sample new products, and find inspiration for holiday entertaining.

A Department Store Christmas, Reimagined

Among Belleville’s holiday traditions is its Christmas tree decorated with vintage department store gift boxes, including treasured examples from former Lehigh Valley retailers. The collection celebrates the history of department store shopping and the memories associated with these once-familiar neighborhood institutions.

“There’s something special about seeing the Market come together for Christmas,” said Warren Clark, co-founder of Belleville Market. “Our merchants and team put so much care into the details, from the decorations and displays to the gifts and experiences we share with our guests. We want people to walk through our doors and feel that sense of excitement that makes this time of year so memorable.”

It’s a fitting reflection of Belleville’s broader vision: bringing the warmth, discovery, hospitality, and traditions of the department store into a new era of independent retail.

Christmas at Belleville runs November 5 through December 27, 2026, with the holiday giving campaign continuing through January 31, 2027.
