North Whitehall Township, PA – The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is gearing up for a memorable holiday season with their annual tree lighting ceremony in Slatington, PA.

Join the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce and North Whitehall Township for our 4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! This festive community event will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Kolapechka Park, with the lighting taking place at 6:30 PM.

The event will feature holiday music and performances, live reindeer, complimentary hot chocolate, and hot dogs from the Upper Lehigh Lions Club. Enjoy a variety of craft and business vendors, food trucks, holiday activities, and a special craft area courtesy of the Parkland Community Library. It is the only day to drop off your letters to Santa in the special Mailbox that will be sent to the North Pole by North Whitehall Township.

“Each year, we proudly kick off the holiday season in Greater Northern Lehigh area with this beloved tradition in North Whitehall Township,” said Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Executive Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “We’re thrilled to come together with the community to celebrate the holiday season and share the joy and magic of this festive event!”

This year the event will be hosting a food drive to benefit Parkland C.A.R.E.S. “The holidays are a time for giving, and we’re proud to be part of a community that supports those in need,” said Elyse Cuttic, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “We hope this food drive brings some holiday cheer to local students and families.”
