TREXLERTOWN, PA — The Valley Preferred Cycling Center (VPCC) invites the community to celebrate Independence Day weekend and America250 with an exciting evening of world-class bicycle racing, family entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display during the American Classic on Thursday, July 3, 2026.
As part of the celebration, all first responders and their immediate families will receive free admission to the event. Firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and other first responders can simply show their identification at Will Call to receive complimentary tickets.
In addition, all Upper Macungie Township residents will receive free admission by providing their ZIP code at Will Call.
“We’re proud to recognize the men and women who serve our communities every day and to celebrate the township that has been home to T-Town for five decades,” said VPCC Executive Director Gary Thornton. “The American Classic has always been one of the highlights of our season, and this year we’re excited to make it even more special as we celebrate America250.”
The evening will feature elite track cycling competition, including the American Classic Omnium, showcasing some of the nation’s top athletes racing on the world-famous concrete crater. Fans can also enjoy food vendors, kids bounce houses, family-friendly activities, and a patriotic atmosphere leading into one of the Lehigh Valley’s premier fireworks displays.
