WRITERS GROUP TO HOLD MONTHLY MEETING



EASTON, Pa.—Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group (GLVWG) will hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The meeting is offered in a hybrid format—in-person at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer, PA, and online via Zoom.

Membership business will be conducted from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. From 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., writer Lee Upton will present “Getting to Know Your Characters Better.” This program will focus on developing 3-dimensional characters.

From 12:15-1:15 p.m., attendees are welcome to participate in an Open Mic. Bring a page or two of a work in progress to share with fellow writers over the day’s lunch break (this will not be available over Zoom).

From 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., Upton will present an afternoon workshop that takes a deeper dive into creating 3-dimensional characters. Registration is required for Upton’s afternoon program. Cost is free for members; $15 for non-members payable via AccuPay. Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for any GLVWG event.
