(Allentown, PA)—Natalia Golebiowska from Allentown Central Catholic High School, Maya Saliby from Louis E. Dieruff High School and David Thor from William Allen High School were selected to receive Roger and Louise Mullin Scholarships from the Allentown Rotary Club Foundation. These scholarship recipients were honored at a club luncheon on May 15 at Cedar Crest College.
Each will receive $3,000 per year for a maximum amount of $12,000 over their four collegiate years beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Golebiowska will attend Penn State University, Saliby will attend New York University, while Thor will attend the University of Chicago.
The scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from Allentown high schools to study at a four-year college or university. Candidates were evaluated on their community service, leadership skills, academic achievement, financial need and interview skills.
The late Rotarian Roger W. Mullin Jr., a former chairman of the board of Mack Trucks, presented a scholarship endowment gift to the Allentown Rotary Scholarship Foundation in 1993. Since the early 1990s, the Allentown Rotary Club Foundation has provided approximately $450,000 in scholarships to deserving students.
