Nov 30, 7 PM Mayhem, PHS Main Gym. Join the boys and girls basketball programs to kick off the season with a fun event for all Parkland families. There will be shooting competitions, basket raffles, performances by the PHS Cheerleaders, Drum Line, Dance Team and STEP Team, contests, prizes and food. All proceeds benefit Angel 34.

Dec 1, Reading Camp-In at Schnecksville Elementary, 3:45 – 5:45 PM. More than 200 Schnecksville students will camp out at their school with flashlight reading, camp songs, a book give-away, s’mores and a pizza dinner! Reading Specialist Taryn Gergar has gone all out to make this a special 1st-time event for students.

Dec 1 – Dec 13, PHS Spanish Club Toys for Tots Drive. Students can make a donation to help less fortunate children in our community with a new, unwrapped toy.
Toys (and monetary donations) should be dropped off in room D123.
Dec 1 – Dec 15, Club Med Street Medicine Donation Drive. Students are collecting gauze, wraps and Band-Aids to aid Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Street Medicine Program, which brings free health care and medication to homeless people at Lehigh Valley soup kitchens, shelters, and homeless encampments. Dec 1, Holiday Shop at Parkway Manor, 5-7 PM. Bring your little ones to shop for their relatives at the holiday shop, filled with low cost, high quality items for family, friends and even pets! Cookie decorating on site!
Dec 6, Heroes and Helpers Event, South Whitehall Township Police Department, Upper Macungie Police Department, Parkland Education Foundation and Target will host a Heroes & Helpers event to help children from Parkland School District purchase
holiday gifts for their families, 9:15 – 11:45 AM. Click here for info.
Dec 8, Annual Holiday Senior Citizens Dinner at PHS, 5:30 PM. A longtime tradition, 400 Parkland Senior Citizens will enjoy a complimentary dinner served by student clubs and then be treated to a holiday concert by PHS students.
Dec 11, PHS Chorale Annual Holiday Concert at Neffs United Church of Christ, 7 PM. This favored concert is free to the public and is a terrific way to get into the spirit of the season.

Class of 2017 is selling yard signs to congratulate seniors. Signs will be printed
on both sides and come with the yard posts (see photo above of the sign graphic). They will be available in May 2017. You will be emailed when signs are ready to be picked up at the HS. Each sign is $22. Signs are vinyl, 24” x 18”, and come with yard posts. Checks should be
made payable to PHS Class of 2017. Forms can be submitted online at the following
