[Northampton County, PA] — The Northampton County Elections Division is reminding voters who requested a mail-in ballot but have not yet received it that options remain available to ensure they can cast their vote.
Voters who have not received their requested mail-in ballot, or who have received it but have not yet returned it, are encouraged to act upon the following Election Day options:
Option 1: Obtain a Replacement Ballot in Person
Voters who have applied for a mail-in ballot but have not received it may visit the Northampton County Elections Division on the Lower Level of the Government Center at 669 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042, on Tuesday, November 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to request a replacement ballot.
Voters should inform Elections Division staff that their original ballot was not received in the mail. The original ballot will be cancelled, and a replacement ballot will be issued in person.
Option 2: Return Your Mail-In Ballot on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day
Voters who receive their mail-in ballot on Election Day may still complete and return it.
All completed mail-in ballots must be received by the Northampton County Elections Division no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Voters should NOT place their completed mail-in ballots in the mail on Election Day, as they will not arrive in time to meet the deadline. Postmarks do not count.
Instead, voters should return their completed ballots directly to the Elections Division at 669 Washington Street, Easton, or to one of the County’s 10 designated secure ballot drop boxes during their respective operating hours.

Voters who requested a mail-in ballot but never received it may go to their assigned polling place on Tuesday, November 3, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and request a provisional ballot.
A provisional ballot allows voters to cast their vote while election officials verify their eligibility and confirm that another completed ballot has not already been received.
Option 4: Surrender Your Mail-In Ballot and Vote in Person
Voters who received their mail-in ballot but would prefer to vote in person on Election Day may do so by bringing their mail-in ballot, including the purple return envelope, to their assigned polling place.
By surrendering the ballot and envelope to election officials, voters may vote using the regular voting machines.
Voters who do not have their ballot and envelope to surrender may still request a provisional ballot at their polling place.
Make a Plan to Vote
The Northampton County Elections Division reminds voters that polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Voters who are in line by 8:00 p.m. will be permitted to vote.
Residents who have not received their requested mail-in ballot should not assume they have missed their opportunity to participate. Whether obtaining a replacement ballot, returning a completed ballot, or voting provisionally at their polling place, options remain available on Election Day.
