CELEBRATE THE FOURTH OF JULY AT DORNEYPARK

DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA (June 29, 2016) – To celebrate the Fourth of July, Dorney Park will be offering special promotions between July 1st – July 4th.
Dorney Park’s Military Days pays tribute to the brave men and women of the Armed Forces and will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel during the Fourth of July weekend (July 2nd – July 4th). Along with free admission, active and retired military will be able to purchase discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) at a special rate of $27.00. To take advantage of this special appreciation offer, guests can purchase tickets online at www.dorneypark.com or at the Park’s ticket window. A valid military ID should be presented at the turnstile for entry into the park.
Guests will be able to take a break from all the thrills and spills to enjoy an All-American Cookout! The all-you-can-eat menu includes American classics like hot dogs, burgers, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, potato salad and fruit salad. The All-American Cookout will be held from Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 1st – 17th, with a bonus day on July 4th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Food Fest Groves. Entry for the meal will require a ticket. You can purchase a combination admission and cookout ticket for $52. Meal tickets only are $18 or $12 for 2016 Season Passholders. Tickets can be purchased online at www.dorneypark.com/things-to-do. Taxes and applicable fees will be added to the ticket price at the time of purchase.
Passholders can take advantage of our Super Saver Bring A Friend promotion by purchasing tickets for up to four friends per pass for only $19 per ticket….a $36 savings! Bring A Friend tickets are available online through the Season Pass Portal or the park on the day of the event.
Join us Friday, July 1st for the kick off of our Bands, Brews and BBQs event! Guests will be able to enjoy mouthwatering BBQ recipes prepared by Dorney’s Executive Chef Malo Jones. No need to pick just one favorite, stop by each station to savor tasty samples of Barbecue Pork, Chicken and Beef and over a variety of craft beers from across the region. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment from various cover bands! Bands, Brews & BBQs will take place from July 1st – 17th on Thursdays – Sundays from 3:00 – 8:00 PM in the Possessed Midway. BBQ menu includes Pork Slider with Cole Slaw, BBQ Ribs, Pulled Chicken Taco, Shredded Chicken Nachos, Beef Brisket and Ox Roast. Accompany your favorite BBQ meats with Bourbon Beans and Roasted Corn, and enjoy Caramel Drizzled Apple Pie or Peach Cobbler with Whipped Cream for dessert. Taste tickets are available for purchase – 5 Taste Tickets and a 4 oz. Souvenir Mug for $10, 10 Taste Tickets and a 4 oz. Souvenir Mug for $15 or 20 Taste Tickets and a 4 oz. Souvenir Mug for $25. Entry to Bands, Brews and BBQs is not included with park admission, you can purchase a combination package including admission and Taste Tickets for $52 online (or $62 at the gate). The combination package includes park admission, 10 Taste Tickets and a 4 oz. Souvenir Mug. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to sample the craft beers and admission to Dorney Park is required to participate in this event. Wrap up your Fourth of July weekend with a Lehigh Valley tradition – a spectacular fireworks display! The fireworks will be launched from Dorney Park on Monday, July 4th beginning at 10:00 PM.
Guests can join the fun by purchasing or renewing 2016 Season Passes online or at the park for as low as four easy payments of $31.50 – but hurry, the current Season Pass offer ends July 4th! In addition to enjoying unlimited visits to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, free season-long parking, exclusive passholder events, Bring-A-Friend-Days, in-park discounts on food and merchandise, passholders experience numerous other benefits.
