Allentown School District announces the following events will take place between in our schools.
Events:
- William Allen High School – March 15 – April 29; See Gallery Hours: “Faces of the Lehigh Valley” Art Exhibit at the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley features artwork by William Allen High School students. Gallery hours are: Monday and Wednesday: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday: 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. Gallery is closed on Sundays.
- Harrison-Morton Middle School – March 22; 3:00 p.m.: Morton Madness Basketball Game, students vs staff. $3 per person or $2 with canned good. Students must have lanyard and ID to enter.
- Dieruff High School – March 23; 6:00 p.m.: Annual Dieruff Talent Show, Admission is $5, children under 5 are free.
- All ASD Elementary Schools – March 29; 7:00 p.m.: ASD Elementary All City Band Concert at Trexler Middle School.
- Raub Middle School – March 31; 2:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Health Careers Club – Yoga and Stressball Making with DeSales University with Psychology Students in the Raub Library.
- Roosevelt Elementary School – March 31; 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Story Character Night for the students and families of Roosevelt..
- McKinley Elementary School – April 2; 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Book Blast – Habit 7, Sharpen the Saw will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 1245 W Hamilton Street. Book Blast is a fun-filled family literacy event where students and their families enjoy breakfast, a read-aloud story, crafts and a chance to win prizes while building community with other McKinley families.
- Dieruff High School – April 2; 2:00 p.m.: Harlem Wizards vs. ASD “Dream Team” Basketball Game. Dieruff’s AFJROTC is hosting this district-wide fun event. The ASD Dream Team includes 25 ASD staff and students from Dieruff, South Mountain, Harrison-Morton, Central, Ritter, and Sheridan. Ticket prices range from $5 to $15.
