Allentown School District announces the following events will take place between in our schools.

NOTE Upcoming Days Off:

• February 9: Half Day Kindergarten Conferences, half-day Kindergarten students ONLY Do Not Report
• February 10 and 11: Conferences for Grades K-5, students in Grades K-5 ONLY Do Not Report
• February 12 and 15: No School for ALL students – Presidents’ Day 

Events:

• Building 21 Allentown High School – February 1 – March 4: 2016-2017 Applications Accepted. Rising 8th grade students residing in the Allentown School District Boundaries can apply to go to Building 21 Allentown High School next year. A lottery will be used to determine the first 150 students any additional applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Interested students can click this link to fill out an application:  https://building21.schoolmint.net/.

• Mosser Elementary School – February 8; 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.: Muhlenberg Jazz Tap Performances by Muhlenberg College Dance Team.

• South Mountain Middle School – February 10; 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Valentune’s Concert in Auditorium.

• Raub Middle School – February 11 and 18; 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: ESL Class in Room 120 for Raub parents who are signed up to attend. Contact Mrs. Surita at 484-765-5313 for more information; currently there is a waiting list.

• William Allen High School – February 11; 7:00 p.m.: 4th Annual Talent Showcase is presented by Key Club. All proceeds benefit the Hoke Family. (NOTE: Sally Hoke, Trexler Middle School Guidance Counselor, passed away earlier this month. Two of her children attend William Allen High School.)
