REGISTRATION OPENS FOR AIR PRODUCTS
DEVELOPMENTAL, PEEWEE PEDALER PROGRAMS
TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – On Tuesday morning Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Director Marty Nothstein announced the release of schedules and opening of registration for all VPCC summer community programs. The schedules and registration are now available for the Air Products Developmental Cycling Program, the PeeWee Pedalers program presented by Teva Respiratory, and the Try the Track program.
“Our community programs are the best in the country and continue to grow,” Nothstein said. “Without great community partners these programs would not be possible. We are excited to offer these programs to a growing Lehigh Valley community.”
The Air Products programs are offered for a variety of age groups and skill levels. Squirts and Weeble Wobbles, Youth Basic, Youth Advanced, Junior Basic/Advanced, and Adult Basic/Advanced, are all the classes being offered this summer at VPCC. There is a class for anyone from age 5 and up.
For the Squirts and Weeble Wobbles class, riders are expected to provide their own bike and helmet. Equipment is provided for all other youth, junior, and adult courses in the Air Products Developmental Cycling Program.
The PeeWee Pedalers program, presented by Teva Respiratory, is for ages 5-8 and is designed for riders who can ride a bike without training wheels. This class builds riders’ confidence with riding on two wheels. Riders are to provide their own bike and helmet.
The 2017 Try the Track program now includes all the dates for the upcoming season. The first session is a special Saturday version on May 27 from 2pm-4pm. This Try the Track session is part of the Lehigh Wheelman’s Velo Valley Vistas event, which takes place the whole weekend with T-Town serving as the epicenter. There is one Try the Track session per month starting in May and continuing through September. All equipment is provided.
Class sizes are limited. The first sessions begin on May 27. Visit the Programs page for more information on the various classes.
