POPULAR WINTER WINE CLASS SERIES RETURNS TO HISTORIC HOTEL BETHLEHEM THIS MONTH
BETHLEHEM, PA – January 14, 2015 – Winter in Bethlehem means it is time once again to warm up at a new series of educational wine classes at Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Five classes will be offered during January, February and March, each one with a different theme or highlighting wines from specific countries.
Kathleen Brown, Director of Restaurants, and Eligio Perotti, Restaurant Manager, will oversee the classes along with Terry Balent from Southern Wine & Spirits who will provide descriptions for each wine along with explanations on why he selected it.
January 21 – Wine and Spice
February 4 – Que Syrah, Shiraz
February 18 – Portugal
March 4 – India, Australia, New Zealand
March 18 – What’s that smell?
Wine Spectator has honored Hotel Bethlehem’s wine program for six years in a row with an Award of Excellence in the magazine’s Restaurant Wine List Awards.
Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. and last between 1 and 1.5 hours. The classes are $30 each or $125 for all five. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
