Zac Edwards is the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame College Scholar Athlete of the Year 2015 just two years after winning the LV Sports Hall of Fame High School Male Athlete of the Year. Zac was a three sport athlete at Catasauqua, baseball, basketball and cross country.
Edwards is the starting second baseman for the Dutchmen.
Zac will be honored at the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards program on May 9, 2015 at the Northampton Memorial Community Center. The cost of a ticket to the country style dinner is $30. Donations of award sponsorships for high school and college students begin at $50 and can be made payable to LV Sports Hall of Fame, 311 Mulberry St. Catasauqua, PA 18032.
Bria Bittiger Soccer All-America from Stroudsburg High School and winner of a full soccer scholarship to LaSalle University is the High School Scholar Athlete for 2014. The administration at Lebanon Valley College has selected Zac Edwards to be a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi. Sigma Alpha Pi is a leadership honor society( not a fraternity). Zac earned this honor because of his academic accomplishments and leadership potential. His candidacy for the Society is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction. The National Society of Leadership and Success is one of the largest college leadership honor societies in the United States with hundreds of chapters.
