Fireworks Spectacular to Follow International Cycling Races

Trexlertown, Pa. — The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is excited to announce that Philadelphia Funk Authority (https://www.phillyfunk.com/), one of the region’s premier live party bands, will perform as part of the American Classic America250 Celebration on Friday, July 3, presented in partnership with Upper Macungie Township.

Known for high-energy performances, crowd interaction, and a diverse repertoire spanning decades of music, Philadelphia Funk Authority will help set the stage for an unforgettable evening of family fun and patriotic celebration.

The American Classic America250 Celebration will feature international cycling competition, live music, food vendors, bounce houses, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks display following the evening’s racing.

In addition, admission is free for Upper Macungie Township residents and first responders and their immediate families with valid identification.

“Philadelphia Funk Authority brings an incredible energy that perfectly complements what will be one of the biggest nights of the summer at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center,” said Gary Thornton, Executive Director of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. “Combined with world-class cycling, fireworks, and activities for the entire family, this will be a celebration the community won’t want to miss.”

The event is part of the nationwide America250 initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States and celebrates the spirit, history, and future of America through community gatherings and special events.
