(June 25, 2026) — Dorney Park will celebrate Independence Day with the return of Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’S®, a three-day patriotic event July 3 through July 5 featuring fireworks, live entertainment, immersive décor and all-American experiences designed for guests of all ages.
Recognized as one of the Lehigh Valley’s most anticipated Fourth of July traditions, Star-Spangled Nights will light up the night sky with vibrant fireworks synchronized to patriotic music, creating a memorable finale to full days of thrills, splashes and summer fun.
A Classic American Amusement Park Experience
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom continues to deliver a uniquely American theme park experience grounded in more than a century of history and innovation. The park’s attraction lineup spans generations, from historic rides to modern roller coaster experiences.
Guests can take on the park’s newest thrills, including the award-winning Iron Menace, or soar through the sky on Talon. At the same time, Dorney Park preserves its legacy through iconic attractions such as Thunderhawk, one of the oldest continuously operating wooden roller coasters in the world, first opened in 1924. The park’s Antique Carousel, built in 1921, and the Zephyr train, which debuted in the mid-1930s, continue to provide timeless experiences that connect today’s guests with the golden age of American amusement parks.
A Timeless Fireworks Tradition
Each evening of Star-Spangled Nights will conclude with a dazzling fireworks spectacular visible throughout the park. Set to a curated patriotic soundtrack, the display creates a shared celebration moment that has become a hallmark of the holiday weekend at Dorney Park.
Live Entertainment and Special Moments
Adding to the patriotic atmosphere, local recording artist Kendal Conrad will perform the national anthem live each evening July 3 through July 5, bringing a hometown connection to the celebration.
Special moments throughout the weekend will further highlight the significance of the holiday, including featured remarks tied to America’s semiquincentennial anniversary and themed installations such as a Liberty Bell display.
Patriotic Atmosphere and Immersive Experiences
Guests will be welcomed into a fully transformed park environment featuring bold red, white and blue décor. Patriotic banners, flags, garlands and buntings will line walkways and plazas, creating a festive backdrop for the holiday.
A signature entrance installation will serve as a large-scale photo opportunity, complemented by themed backdrops, step-and-repeat displays, oversized Adirondack chairs in Hydra Plaza and branded photo experiences including an M&M’s activation. These shareable moments are designed to encourage guests to capture and celebrate their visit.
Limited-Time Food and Beverage Offerings
Dorney Park will feature a lineup of specialty food and beverage items inspired by classic Americana flavors, available exclusively during the event. Offerings include:
- Patriotic vanilla layer cake topped with red, white and blue sprinkles
- All-American funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and festive toppings
- Red, white and blue parfait layered with colorful gels and whipped cream
- Liberty Bell apple pie smash shake served in a cinnamon graham crumb-rimmed mason jar and topped with apple-inspired garnishes
- Americana colada frozen cocktail combining tropical flavors with patriotic flair
Signature beverages will include The All-American and The Tavern Cherry, both served in souvenir Americana cups, along with additional commemorative cocktails and mocktails available throughout the park.
