A Battle of Flavors and Fun for the Whole Family – January 4, 2025

ALLENTOWN, PA, December 30, 2024 – The sweetest showdown of the year is back for its 14th year! Da Vinci Science Center is thrilled to announce the return of Ice Cream Wars, taking place on Saturday, January 4, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This beloved annual tradition invites families and friends to indulge in a day of flavor, science, and friendly competition as local teams create unique ice cream recipes and vie for the coveted title of champion.

Attendees will have the chance to sample innovative, science-inspired ice cream creations made with liquid nitrogen, creating a fog-filled spectacle that adds excitement to every bite.

The excitement builds to a crescendo at 2:30 PM, when the winner of Ice Cream Wars 2024 will be revealed, based on the votes from our guests.

What to Expect at Ice Cream Wars:

• Sample Extraordinary Flavors: Taste ice cream concoctions that push the boundaries of flavor and creativity.
• Vote for Your Favorite: Every attendee gets to cast their vote to help determine this year’s winner.
• Experience the Science of Ice Cream: Learn how liquid nitrogen transforms ingredients into delicious frozen desserts.
• Explore the Science Center:  Don’t miss out on even more fun! Dive into the Sharks exhibit (additional ticket required) and check out ATAS Studio, where you can build with KEVA planks or test your skills creating flying contraptions. There’s something for everyone!
• Our otters are joining the Ice Cream Wars fun with their own specially made ice cream—don’t miss it at 3 PM!
