JENNA FLISZAR ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR LEHIGH COUNTY JUDGE

Fliszar looks to bring a diversity of experience to the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas.

ALLENTOWN, PA – Jenna M. Fliszar, a seasoned attorney with over 14 years of legal experience, proudly announced her candidacy for Judge of the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas on Monday.

“I’m pleased to announce my candidacy for Lehigh County Judge. Lehigh County is home for me and my family and I look forward to serving our neighbors and keeping our community safe.” 

Fliszar has been a practicing attorney for 14 years and is the owner of Fliszar Law Office, LLC in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She also serves as court-appointed counsel in dependency cases in Lehigh County, representing both children and parents in cases involving Children and Youth Services. She has served as Guardian Ad Litem for numerous children in the foster care system, ensuring their voices are heard. In addition to her private practice, Fliszar serves as Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Bethlehem, where she heads the litigation division and advises key city departments like police, fire, and EMS, earning her the trust of those who protect our communities. Most notably, Fliszar served as co-counsel with current Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan in defending South Whitehall Police Officer Jonathan Roselle, who was acquitted in a police-involved shooting outside of Dorney Park.

Fliszar pointed to her wide range of experience as crucial for the judicial bench: “I am running for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas because I believe in upholding the principles of fairness, integrity, and justice that form the foundation of our legal system. My experience in criminal defense, child advocacy, and municipal law has prepared me to bring a balanced perspective to the bench. It would be an honor to continue serving the people of Lehigh County in this capacity.”

“I’ve represented hundreds of individuals accused of crimes, ensuring their constitutional rights are upheld and that justice is served. Equally, I take immense pride in my role as Guardian Ad Litem, where I’ve worked tirelessly to protect the best interests and safety of abused and neglected children,” Fliszar said. “These experiences have shaped my deep respect for the rule of law and my commitment to fairness, compassion, and integrity. As judge, I will bring this dedication to every decision, ensuring the needs and rights of all who come before the Court are respected.”

Active in the legal community, Fliszar serves as Vice-President of the Bar Association of Lehigh County and will assume the role of President-Elect in 2025. She is a recipient of the prestigious Legal Eagle Award and serves on the Board of Directors for Lehigh Valley Pre-Trial Services.

Fliszar lives in the Lehigh Valley with her husband, Greg, and remains deeply invested in the well-being and future of the community she calls home.

“I was born and raised here in the Lehigh Valley. I chose to build my career here and my husband and I chose to make this our home. This place has given me so much and I want to give back and ensure that this remains a wholesome and safe community for families for generations to come.” 

Fliszar will kick off her campaign with an event on Wednesday, January 22nd from 5:30-7:30pm at the Triple Sun Spirits Co. in Emmaus, PA. The public is invited to attend.

Jenna Fliszar has practiced law for fourteen years and is the owner of Fliszar Law Office. She additionally serves as court-appointed counsel in dependency cases and as Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Bethlehem, where she heads the litigation section. She is Vice President of the Bar Association of Lehigh County and serves on the Board of Directors for Lehigh Valley Pre-Trial Services. 

Fliszar is an alumna of Rutgers Law School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Alvernia University. She has served as an adjunct professor at Cedar Crest College and Northampton Community College. Fliszar lives in Lehigh County with her husband Greg.
