Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., August 8, 2024 – With the expected inclement weather over the next few days, eVenti Verticali SPHERE presented by Lehigh Valley Public Media, is moving locations from Martin Guitar Handwerkplatz to Musikfest’s SouthSide. Thanks to Lehigh Valley Public Media – PBS39, WLVR 91.3 FM and LehighValleyNews.com, this highly anticipated spectacle event, making its U.S. debut at Musikfest, will move to Air Products Town Square PBS39.

“Hurricane Debby is trying its best to be a Debby Downer, but thanks to PBS39 we are still able to premiere this incredible spectacle during Musikfest and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful,” commented Patrick Brogan, ArtsQuest Chief Programming Officer.

Performances will NOW take place on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

From Italy, eVenti Verticali’s SPHERE presented by PBS39 is a 30-minute outdoor performance delivered by five aerialists suspended from a crane 60 feet above the ground. The performance begins with the transparent sphere deflated and shapeless with one aerialist suspended inside. The sphere is raised by a crane, becoming a gigantic, fully inflated stunning globe, transforming into a place where everything comes alive. The aerialists take the audience on a journey reflecting on our miraculous lives here, on our planet earth.
