Pocono Manor, PA: On Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, more than 900 community and business owners from the Pocono and surrounding communities will come together in a spirit of unity and prayer at the 29th Annual Pocono Prayer Breakfast. The event will take place at the Kalahari Resorts & Convention Center at 250 Kalahari Blvd, Pocono Manor, PA.

“The Prayer Breakfast, a non-profit gathering held on the first Tuesday of October, is a testament to our shared values as Americans, with a focus on God and Country. For over a quarter of a century, the Pocono Prayer Breakfast has brought together a diverse group of over 700 community and business leaders to hear a message of hope and pray for our government, businesses, healthcare, education, faith communities, residents, and families,” said Charlie Trapasso, Director of the Pocono Prayer Breakfast.

The Pocono Prayer Breakfast has a rich history of hosting renowned speakers who share compelling stories and life altering testimonies. This year’s event promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience, featuring the incredible Darryl Strawberry as our keynote speaker. This is a rare opportunity to hear his powerful words of encouragement firsthand, a moment that will surely leave you inspired. Attendees will also be captivated as the Stroudsburg High School band pays tribute to our veterans, and the melodious voices of the students from Faith Christian School serenade us with their harmonious voices during the breakfast hour and before the Prelude.

The Prayer Breakfast program and social hour offer a relaxed atmosphere to reconnect with friends, meet new faces, capture memories through photos, and enjoy a delightful breakfast spread. Stay back for an additional 30 minutes and make the most of your post program experience by seizing the ideal opportunity to meet Darryl, snap photos, or just mingle with fellow attendees. Doors open promptly at 6:15am. The breakfast buffet is available until 7:15am. At 7:15am sharp, we dive into the heart of our program, concluding by 8:30am, followed by a charming social gathering until 9:00am.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase online at poconoprayerbreakfast.org. They can also be obtained by check, payable to “Pocono Prayer Breakfast,” sent to P.O. Box 193, Tannersville, PA 18372. Tickets are $25 per person or $250 for a table of 10.
