Bethlehem, PA – [April 8, 2024] – Magellan Health, Inc., a leader in behavioral health and related services, today announced that Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Magellan), will host the second annual Lehigh Valley Health & Human Services Job Fair in collaboration with Penn State Lehigh Valley, Lehigh County Human Services, and Northampton County Human Services. The fair will offer a variety of workshops and plenary discussions, as well as ample networking opportunity, for students and young professionals seeking positions in the health and human services fields.
The event is scheduled for April 11, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Penn State Lehigh Valley (2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley, PA 18034). The event is free and open to the general public. Magellan currently administers behavioral health benefits through HealthChoices contracts with Bucks, Cambria, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.
The Lehigh Valley Health & Human Services Job Fair will include:
- 35+ providers to discuss a variety of positions available. Go here to see the list of providers.
- “Identify your career signal with HIF logic” workshop led by Dr. Kathleen Houlihan of Dream2Career scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- “How to make appropriate connections with hiring managers” plenary discussion scheduled for 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.
- Career services staff hosting workshops on topics to include: salary negotiation, internship and career strategy, virtual interview best practices, resume tips, and social media recommendations.
