EASTON, Pa. (Nov. 16, 2023) –The start of the holiday giving season got a splash of red, green and all the other colors of the rainbow today with Crayola Experience Easton’s “64 Seconds of Color” shopping spree.
Three lucky area kids experienced the world’s most colorful shopping spree for an early Christmas treat. Their shopping extravaganza, with assistance from the U.S. Marines, is also helping to bring the magic of Crayola to less fortunate children so they, too, can have a colorful Christmas.
Ten-year-old Aubrey of Easton, Pa., 4-year-old Damian of Allentown, Pa., and 4-year-old Aliyana of Plain Field, N.J., had 64 seconds—a nod to Crayola’s iconic box of 64—to dash through the world’s largest selection of Crayola products at The Crayola Store.
Helping the kids by acting as their “shopping carts” were Lcpl Anthony Denunzio, Cpl Michael Waldman, and Sgt Taylor Hawkins. At the end of the dash, the children were able to keep whatever products their Marine partner was holding. Crayola Experience—the family attraction with more than 25 hands-on activities in downtown Easton, Pa.—then matched the collected toys and donated them to the Toys for Tots chapter for Lehigh and Northampton counties.
The “64 Seconds of Color” holiday event is an annual tradition for the brand. Aubrey, Damian, and Aliyana were randomly selected for the shopping spree after entering a raffle.
