Course has made a strategic operational transition as of January 1st. Todd Donnelly, owner of the restaurant, has partnered with a local group to co-own and manage the restaurant going forward. Billy and Holly Gruenewald, owners of The People’s Kitchen in Bethlehem and their business partners at the Tavern at the Sun Inn/Christmas City Spirits, Seth Cornish, Noel Cornish and Brett Biggs have assumed operations at the Clubhouse.

“It’s exciting to have my new partners involved with the Clubhouse Grille” says Todd Donnelly, “With their accomplishments at their other locations, I was incredibly happy to have them take on the project.” Manager of 5 years, Ryan Blawn, will be moving his managerial expertise to Donnelly’s other restaurant venture, Randall’s, (Orefield, Pa) in a planned organizational move.

“We will be operating the Clubhouse Grille on a turnkey basis. With the beautiful new golf course revamp, we look forward to working with course management to make the customer experience more integrated and rewarding,” says new Co-owner Seth Cornish.

“This location has a lot of meaning for the City and for myself having grown up right across the Monocacy.” echos Brett Biggs, “With the changes in the neighborhood and the Martin Tower redevelopment, we want this to continue to be the place you’ve come to know. Like we did at the Sun Inn, we’re taking that notion of local history and place and adapting to modern tastes.”

Billy and Holly Gruenewald, both well seasoned restauranteurs, will take over the culinary direction and day-to-day operation of the Clubhouse. “Customer experience is our top priority. We’ll likely take a more focused approach to the menu as we do at our other locations but still have all your favorites prepared with fresh, quality ingredients.” says Billy.

The group has already begun to work with Larry Kelchner, the Manager of the Golf Course, on how they can better service golfers. “The entire golf staff considers this change to be positive, and we look forward to working together.” says Kelchner.

The Clubhouse Grille is located at 400 Illick’s Mill Rd. in Bethlehem and is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
