The Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation and the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living will hold their 2nd Annual Fishing in the Park Event at Klein’s Bridge in Lehigh Parkway on Saturday, October 10 from 10am to 3pm.
The event focuses on providing a day of fishing fun for all ages and abilities including casting and fillet demonstrations by Lehigh County Fish and Game Protective Association, Invertebrate Study and Bird Watching Walks presented by the Wildlands Conservancy, a Raptor Presentation by Hawk Mountain Conservancy and a Lehigh Valley Zoo animal display, as well as arts and crafts and games run by Friends of the Allentown Parks.
