January 7 – 8th Grade Parent Meeting regarding High School Course Selection, PHS, 7 PM.

January 8 – Post Prom Meeting, PHS Library, 7 PM.

January 9 – Orefield and Springhouse Middle School 6th Grade Parents Night and History Day Project Night, 7 PM at respective schools. Parent meetings will review course selection for rising 7th graders.

January 9, Sight and Sound, PHS Auditorium, 7 PM. Students in the PHS Music Production class will be presenting an evening of short films with originally produced musical scores, each about 5 minutes in length and span the gamut from comedies to drama, from the silent film era to the present. The event is FREE for all and expected to take approximately one hour. A “meet-and-greet” reception with our music producers, with refreshments provided by the PHS Music Boosters, will follow in the auditorium lobby.

January 15 – Zumba Class, PHS Auxiliary Gym, 3:15 PM. The Parkland HS Spanish Club invites you to a Zumba fundraiser on Tuesday, January 15. The hour-long workout will begin at 3:15PM in the AUX gym. No previous Zumba experience is required! Just bring a $3 donation to support Peace Corps efforts in Guatemala!

January 17 – Community Advisory Council meets about the Annual Budget. The public at large is invited to attend, Administration Center, 7 PM.
