DANIEL ROEBUCK TO HOST 20TH LEHIGH VALLEY MUSIC AWARDS MARCH 3



 

Voting to Select 2019 Award Winners Kicks Off Dec. 9

BETHLEHEM, PA—As it gets set to celebrate its milestone 20th year, the Lehigh Valley Music Awards presented by Tri Outdoor Advertising is proud to announce that acclaimed actor, director and Lehigh Valley native Daniel Roebuck will host the 2019 event, set for March 3, 4 p.m., at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Public voting for the awards begins Dec. 9 at www.lehighvalleymusicawards.org.

Born and raised in Bethlehem, Roebuck has amassed a substantial resume filled with major films like “The Fugitive,” “U.S. Marshals,” “Halloween 2” and “Agent Cody Banks,” as well as television movies like “The Late Shift,” “Behind the Camera” and “New York Prison Break: The Seduction of Joyce Mitchell” and TV series including “Man in the High Castle,” “Matlock,” “Lost” and “Nash Bridges.” During his nearly 35-year career, he has also guest-starred in numerous television shows including every CSI, “Criminal Minds,” “Law and Order,” “Jane the Virgin” and “Rosewood.”

 

A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Roebuck has produced and directed many documentaries and films including “Christmas is Here Again,” “A Timeless Love” and “Give Till It Hurts.” He recently made his feature film directing debut with “Getting Grace,” which was filmed primarily in Bethlehem. In addition to starring in the film, Roebuck wrote and produced it.

A partnership between the nonprofit Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association (GLVMA) and ArtsQuest, the Lehigh Valley Music Awards presented by Tri Outdoor Advertising is a prestigious, annual extravaganza that is designed to celebrate the music industry of the greater Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. During the awards ceremony, the GLVMA will present awards honoring the region’s best performers in a variety of genres including blues, rock, folk, gospel, hip-hop, jazz and more. The awards also recognize local music schools, recording studios, music stores and other local music organizations.
