BETHLEHEM, PA—R&B singer-songwriter Marc Broussard and ‘90s alt-rockers The Verve Pipe are coming to the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling. Tickets for the shows go on sale Oct. 16, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest members and Oct. 19, 10 a.m., to the public at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.

On Jan. 18, 7:30 p.m., the Musikfest Café welcomes The Verve Pipe. With a reputation for spectacular live performances, this multi-platinum alternative rock band is recognized worldwide for its number one smash single “The Freshmen” and radio hits “Photograph,” “Hero,” “Happiness Is” and “Never Let You Down.” In 2014, The Verve Pipe released their first rock album in over 13 years with Overboard, a collection of 10 new songs including “Crash Landing,” “Hit and Run” and the haunting title track ‘Overboard.” This long incubating project brought a renewed energy and focus to this self-produced album that resulted in their most inspired writing and recording to date.

The Verve Pipe continue to tour, performing both rock and kids shows throughout the U.S., including appearances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Festival, Hangout Music Festival, SummerStage in Central Park and many more. Its latest album, “Parachute,” includes fan favorites like “I Can’t Get You Off of My Mind” and “Wallflower.” Tickets are $19-$24.

On March 30, 7:30 p.m., singer-songwriter Marc Broussard brings his soulful stylings to the Musikfest Café. The son of Boogie Kings guitarist Ted Broussard, Broussard was seemingly destined for a life as a music man. His upbringing in Lafayette, La. instilled in him an affinity for R&B and at age 20, he released his first album. Having toured with Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Willie Nelson, O.A.R. and Bonnie Raitt, among others, Broussard has honed his writing chops through collaborations with some of the top songwriters in the business including LeAnn Rimes and Sara Bareilles. His latest work, “Easy to Love,” features the hit single “Don’t Be Afraid to Call Me.” Tickets are $25-$35.
