Lehigh Valley Business is looking for women leaders who are influential in their
companies, industries and communities to be nominated for the 2015 Women of Influence
awards. Successful candidates will have a solid reputation based on experience, integrity
and leadership and have a proven track record of accomplishments. Nominations are being
accepted through February 12. Individuals may be self-nominated, or nominated by another
person.
The 25 Women of Influence award recipients will be recognized at an awards
ceremony scheduled for May 19 at DeSales University. In addition there are three special
recognition category award recipients. The Lifetime Achievement award will be presented
to a woman who has committed her life to making the Greater Lehigh Valley a great place
to work and live. The Woman to Watch award will be presented to a woman, 30 or younger
who is stepping up to help shape the Greater Lehigh Valley of tomorrow. The Community
Achievement Award will be presented to a woman who has dedicated a significant amount
of time, energy and expertise to helping Greater Lehigh Valley community organization
thrive.
To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must be a female currently employed in
for-profit business or nonprofit organization in the Greater Lehigh Valley counties of
Berks, carbon Lehigh, lower Monroe, upper Montgomery, Northampton, upper Bucks,
Schuylkill and Warren. The nominee must hold a senior management-level position with
significant authority in decision making for her organization. To be considered for the
judges’ review, a completed nomination form must be submitted by 5pm on Thursday
February 12, 2015.
