ALLENTOWN, PA — The Lehigh County Recycling Office has announced a community “One Stop Drop” collection event on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the parking lot at Coca-Cola Park (1050 IronPigs Way, Allentown, PA 18109). The event offers residents a convenient, single-location solution to clear out home clutter while keeping recyclable goods and unwanted technology out of local landfills.
Organized in partnership with Goodwill and Reworld, the event gives community members a safe, hassle-free way to dispose of unwanted electronics and household goods at zero cost to participants.
Unlike standard municipal collection drives, this event is open to everyone with no residency restrictions required to participate.
“We know how easy it is for old electronics, spare cables, and unused household items to stack up in basements and garages,” said Angela Zemyan, Lehigh County Recycling Coordinator. “Our ‘One Stop Drop’ event makes clearing out unused items as painless as possible. Thanks to our strong partnership with Goodwill and Reworld, we are proud to offer a responsible way to ensure these materials are either reused or safely recycled.”
