A co-production of Ultimate Form Productions LLC and Gaslight Theatre Company as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival!
After our first outing at the 2023 Scranton Fringe with “No It to Get”, the team of Ultimate Form Productions LLC and Gaslight Theatre Company is proud to present “Live… From This Room!” Starring Elizabeth Guarnieri-Powers and Jahmeel Powers!
“LIVE… From This Room!” is an original Improvised Scenario that is a love letter to the art of clowning and late-night talk shows! The plot centers around two vagabond clowns, Daisy and Oscar, as Oscar finds himself in a case of mistaken identity as the host of the up-and-coming hit Late Night talk show “Live… From This Room, the clowns must stage a live taping of the talk show, and they’ll need help from members of the audience to assemble a house band, an opening monologue, fun show segments, and even a live musical Guest performance.
This piece speaks to the end of an era of late-night talk shows, a medium that spans so many generations. Most of the finest comedians, entertainers, and performers have graced talk show stages–from up-and-comers showcasing their unique talents to the world to A-list legends trying to show us the “everyman” qualities behind their star-studded exteriors, and we are honored to bring another iteration of this long-living tradition to local audiences.”
