With National Nonprofit Day on August 17, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) is highlighting how the local nonprofit is making a difference in the lives of girls across the region.
Through leadership, mentorship and community service, GSEP helps girls build confidence, develop real-world skills and find meaningful ways to give back to their communities. The organization’s local impact includes:
- Helping girls discover their strengths and explore new interests through hands-on activities and opportunities
- Empowering girls to take the lead, make decisions and build confidence
- Encouraging girls to give back and make a difference in their communities through service
- Creating opportunities for girls to build friendships, try new things and step outside their comfort zones
As the new school year approaches, GSEP is encouraging girls to join today! Memberships are $40 off, making it just $25 for the year for new members. Girls can find a local troop that matches their interests and schedule and connect with other girls. They can sign up here: https://www.gsep.org/en/get-involved/join.html
Would you be interested in connecting with a GSEP representative to learn more about the organization and how local girls can get involved?
