Lehigh Valley Business Honors Two KidsPeace Executives For Business Leadership

SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (August 11, 2026) – Two KidsPeace executives have been recognized for excellence by Lehigh Valley Business.

The regional business publication named KidsPeace President and CEO Michael W. Slack to its inaugural LVB 300 list of influential leaders in the region. Mr. Slack was one of eleven organizational leaders selected in the list’s Nonprofit category.

Mr. Slack noted that he views the recognition as highlighting his work in supporting the people who work at KidsPeace. “I have been blessed in my career to have the opportunity to develop and support teams of professionals who have dedicated their careers to helping others,” he said. “By doing so, I have been able on numerous occasions to ensure some of our society’s most vulnerable populations receive the services and support they both need and deserve.”

The full LVB 300 list can be found on the Lehigh Valley Business website at www.lvb.com/lvb300.

Lehigh Valley Business also named Ashley Calle, M.A., M.S., J.D., KidsPeace Vice President for Development and Communications, to its annual “Forty Under 40” list of young professionals in the Lehigh Valley. The recognition is meant to highlight the region’s future leaders, who are not only achieving success in their careers, but also giving back in meaningful ways to the Lehigh Valley community.

“I am truly honored to receive this recognition and humbled to be included among such an accomplished group of leaders,” said Ms. Calle. “In my role at KidsPeace, I have the privilege of building meaningful partnerships and connecting our community to a mission that helps children and families find hope, help, and healing. This recognition reflects the support of the incredible mentors, colleagues, and community partners who have inspired me throughout my journey. I am grateful to be a part of an organization dedicated to changing lives, and I look forward to continuing to build partnerships that strengthen our community and create brighter futures for the children and families we serve.”

Ms. Calle and the other Forty Under 40 honorees will be celebrated at a reception in September. More information about the program is at www.lvb.com/event/forty-under-40-awards.
