St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital has expanded the reach of its specialized pediatric care with the recent addition of Amisha Jain, MD.
Dr. Jain, a pediatric pulmonologist, joins Ashish Shah, MD at St. Luke’s Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Jain also joins Pamela Abrams, MD, pediatric endocrinologist, as Co-Division Chief of Pediatric Specialty Care.

St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Bethlehem combines compassionate care and physician expertise. It features state-of-the-art facilities and offers comprehensive pediatric specialty and surgical care, as well as pediatric emergency, inpatient and critical care. An experienced team of board-certified pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists and pediatric nurses are available 24/7 to provide children with the best care possible.
Dr. Jain specializes in caring for children with asthma, chronic cough, recurrent respiratory infections, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other pediatric lung conditions. She has a special interest in helping children with vocal cord dysfunction and anxiety-related breathing symptoms, as well as those born prematurely who continue to experience respiratory challenges.
Dr. Jain joined St. Luke’s after practicing with MedStar Health in Washington, D.C. She earned her medical degree from the University of Delhi, completed her pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Children’s National Medical Center. She is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.
As both a pediatrician and a mother, Dr. Jain is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and partnering with families to help children breathe easier, stay healthy, and thrive.
