Create Special Memories with Mom at the Food & Wine Festival or Character Breakfast
DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA (May 5, 2016) – Give Mom something special this Mother’s Day and treat her to a day full of world class thrills! Dorney Park will be offering special promotions and plenty of fun for the whole family to create special memories with Mom. In honor of these incredible women, Moms will receive discount admission to the park all day long at a cost of only $27.
Join us for Dorney Park’s first annual Mother’s Day Food and Wine Festival. Guests will be able to sample the best local wines from Weathered Vineyards and hear stories of how the wines are created. Dorney’s Executive Chef, Malo Jones, has prepared a culinary delight to pair and complement the wines offered at each station. Sample food stations and wine pairings will include – Mini Lump Crab Cakes with Lemon Aioli, paired with 2014 Chardonnay; Beef Tenderloin with Remoulade Sauce and Fingerling Potatoes paired with 2014 Cabernet Franc; Seared Salmon with Roasted Root Vegetables paired with 2015 Cirrus; Imported Cheeses, Artisan Breads and Fresh Fruit paired with 2014 Riesling; Caesar Salad with Fresh Mozzarella; topped off with Chocolate Covered Strawberries for dessert.
The Mother’s Day Food and Wine Festival will be held from 12:00 – 5:00 PM at Chickie’s and Pete’s Sports Bar. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the park the day of the event. Park admission and event ticket package is $42 and includes one sheet of 12 sample tickets. Event tickets can be purchased for only $15 and includes one sheet of 12 sample tickets, park admission is not included. Gold or Platinum Passholders can purchase event wristbands for $20 that are valid for one sample at each station, a 23 ticket value.
In addition to the Food and Wine Festival and our special admission pricing for Mom’s, Season Passholders will also be offered exclusive promotions on Sunday, May 8th. Passholders can start their day by enjoying a delicious breakfast with their favorite people – Mom and the members of the PEANUTS gang! The Passholder Character Breakfast will be served from 9:00 – 10:30 AM in the Carousel Grove. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs bacon, sausage links, fruit salad and warm biscuits. The event is free for Passholders who claim a ticket through the Season Pass Portal.
Passholders can also take advantage of our Bring A Friend special by purchasing tickets for up to four friends per pass for only $19 per ticket….a $36 savings! Bring a Friend tickets are available online through the Season Pass Portal or the park on the day of the event.
All offers are valid for Sunday, May 8th only. Applicable taxes and fees will be added to prices listed at the time of purchase. Guests of the Food and Wine Festival must be 21 years of age or older. Non-passholder tickets for the Character Breakfast must be purchased as a bundle online, including the Bring A Friend admission and Character Breakfast meal voucher for $29.99.
