Allentown, PA – December 30, 2024:  With many different party options at Downtown Allentown establishments, the world’s largest hockey puck drop, outdoor bars provided by Sports & Social and PPL Center, and live entertainment – 7th and Hamilton will be the place to be on New Year’s! Hundreds of people will pack the streets of Downtown Allentown once again and toast to the new year!

Join us outdoors for festivities beginning at 10:00 p.m. leading up to a magnificent countdown with the hockey puck drop by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in partnership with the PPL Center! Don’t miss your chance to get a photo with this amazing structure!

The Downtown Allentown Business Alliance in partnership with the City of Allentown will host Lehigh Valley Entertainment DJ’s at 7th & Hamilton Streets beginning at 10:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. A beer garden in front of the PPL Center and a bar near Sports & Social’s plaza. Tommy’s Dogs will be there to warm you up with delicious snacks. There will be beer and various spirits for purchase for guests 21+.

Downtown Allentown restaurants will be serving up special New Year’s Eve menus, music, champagne toasts, and more. Start your night at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms game beginning at 7:05 p.m.

General Admission ($15) – includes cover and champagne toast.
