BETHLEHEM, PA – The public is invited to a free screening of “Keepers of the Way,” a film about the Lenape Nation, told by Lenape tribal leaders in Pennsylvania.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 p.m. at Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Rd., Bethlehem in the College Center’s Student Life Zone. Follow the “Lenape Event” directional signs on campus.
Through storytelling and healing ceremonies, Lenape tribal leaders share the challenging spiritual journey that unfolds as they work to heal past wounds. They remind viewers that theirs is a story of resilience and courage as they tell the world, not only that they are still here, but that they never left. The trailer can be viewed at yhoo.it/4hMjunM.
The screening will include a Q&A session with the film’s Director, Evan Cohen, and Lenape tribal leaders. The evening’s program will also feature drumming by Lenape Nation members and food honoring Native American culture.
Those unable to attend the Bethlehem campus location are invited to use the Zoom option: zoomto.me/KeepersoftheWayDocumentary.
