The Whitehall Area Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, kicks off the holiday tree lighting season with the Whitehall Area Annual Tree Lighting, Donation Drive, and a Basket Raffle, on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024.

The holiday magic is here, and it’s time to light up the season! Join The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce at the Whitehall Area Tree Lighting Ceremony, on Tuesday, November 19th from 5:30 PM–7:00 PM at Lehigh Valley Mall (Lower Level, between Starbucks & Macy’s).

“As one of the first ‘official’ tree lightings in the Lehigh Valley, the Whitehall Area Chamber is thrilled to bring together our business community and local residents for this special event,” says Elyse Cuttic, Manager of the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Lehigh Valley Mall and Whitehall play a vital role in the heart of our community, and we’re excited to shine a light on these great retailers as we enter the holiday shopping season.”

This year, the Chamber will elevate the celebration with a live dance show from the talented dancers of Innovative Arts Academy, under the direction of Sami Schugardt. Lehigh Valley Phantoms’ MeLVin and Big Z from Whitehall-Coplay School District will make appearances for photo ops and help light the tree, welcoming Santa to the stage in style.

This year, we’re partnering with the Whitehall-Coplay School District and Catasauqua School District for a special drive. Bring any of the following hygiene products to donate—body wash, shampoo and conditioner, 2-in-1 products, bars of soap, shaving cream, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and body lotion—and you’ll receive a complimentary raffle ticket for this year’s Basket Raffle at the Tree Lighting. Let’s spread some holiday cheer and make a difference together! Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Chamber’s philanthropic efforts. The basket raffle featuring multiple grand prizes sponsored by the First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, with dozens of raffle items donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Chamber’s philanthropic efforts.
