The Ice Rink at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital is back!
Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., October 1, 2024 – ArtsQuest is excited to announce the return of the Ice Rink at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. The rink officially opens on Friday, November 22 and runs through Sunday, January 5. This year, the rink will once again offer fun theme nights and this year, there’s added options for birthday parties and private events. It’s not too early to start thinking about creating your holiday experience at the ice rink, alongside the iconic Bethlehem Steel ‘stacks.’

Skating sessions will last 60 minutes (with a 30-minute break in between) and there will be multiple sessions each day. To view session times please visit https://www.steelstacks.org/
Tickets are on sale now, so make plans for skating with family, friends and even your coworkers! You can purchase individual tickets, group tickets for 15 or more and private skate sessions for large groups!
Ticket prices are listed below and include the cost of skates and a $1 fee. You are permitted to bring your own skates, but the ticket price remains the same.
- 14 and older: $18-21
- 13 and younger: $15-18
- ArtsQuest Members: $14-17
- Group Rate (15 or more): $14-17
*Groups of 15-25 can purchase tickets at the group rate online or by phone. Groups of 26 or more, please email groups@artsquest.org with the date/session time being requested and the total number of skaters to secure tickets.
Groups that are looking to rent out the rink so that they are the only ones on it during their skate session, or anyone interested in having a birthday party at the rink, please contact Programming Specialist Alexis Kuczek at akuczek@artsquest.org with the desired date and time, along with the approximate number of skaters. Birthday rentals are $200 and include covered seating for 1.5 hours and five free skate admissions (includes skate rentals). There is a $15 charge for each additional skater. Birthday party add-ons include:
- A storybook party character appearance: starting at $125 for 30 minutes
- Plain 16” pizza: $22 each (Levy Pizza)
- Pepperoni 16” pizza: $26 each
- Chicken tenders and French fry basket: $11 each
- Hot chocolate service: $5.50 per person for 2 hours
ArtsQuest members receive a 10% discount off reservation costs.
On non-holiday Mondays, kids (12 and under) skate for half price, $7.50 at the 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. skating sessions. Sensory Friendly skate sessions will also be held on non-holiday Mondays at 5 p.m.– music and all blinking lights, including our lighted holiday decorations, will be turned off or lighted solid; and skate aids will be free to rent, while supplies last.
On Tuesday December 3, 10 and 17, students with any student ID skate for $2 off during the 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. skating sessions.
On Thursday December 5, 12 and 19 at 8 p.m., only skaters 21 and over will be on the ice. We’ll have drink specials at the bar and a live DJ spinning tunes!

- Bluey Skate – Dec. 14 (10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.)
- Grinch Skate – Dec. 15 (10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.)
