Hop on the Holiday Bus to Enjoy Fall and Winter Festivities Happening throughout Bethlehem

The holidays just got merrier with leaving the driving to us as you celebrate in the Christmas City.

Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem, PA, September 30, 2024 – Back by popular demand, ArtsQuest is pleased to announce that thanks to a multilevel and citywide partnership with LANTA, the Bethlehem Parking Authority, the City of Bethlehem, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, Historic Bethlehem Museum and Sites and the SouthSide Arts District, the NEW LANTA bus service that provided transportation during Musikfest, will again be offering the same Blue and Green Lines for fall and holiday events taking place on both the North and South-Sides of Bethlehem.

Bus service will be offered throughout these events:

  • Oktoberfest – Weekends of Oct. 4-6 and October 11-13
  • Harvest Fest – Saturday, Oct. 12
  • Christkindlmarkt – Nov. 15-17, Nov. 22-24, Nov. 29-Dec. 1, Dec. 5-8, Dec. 12-15, Dec. 19-22
  • All Holiday Events on Historic Main Street

“With approximately 7,700 riders using the LANTA bus lines at Musikfest, it was a unanimous decision to bring this service back for future events,” commented AJ Jordan, Director of Planning & Scheduling, LANTA. “And, all of LANTA’s buses are ADA Accessible, making it much more convenient for everyone to get around the city.”

William Reynolds; Kassie Hilgert, ArtsQuest President and CEO; Tammy Wendling, Senior Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce; Steve Fernstrom, Executive Director Bethlehem Parking Authority; and LoriAnn Wukitsch, President & CEO, Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites are thrilled to bring this new bus service back for Bethlehem’s fall fun and holiday festivities – allowing for more people to visit the Christmas City with increased accessibility, helping to boost the local economy, making it safer for pedestrians with decreased single-vehicle traffic and taking in the beauty of Bethlehem throughout the holiday season.

Once again, the Blue Line from Trexlertown to Easton and the Green Line from Whitehall to the Casino, will not only make your ride to and from events taking place during the fall and winter holiday stress-free, they will also allow for stops throughout both sides of the city for multiple festival fun. Both Blue and Green lines will run every 15 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays. You can find more information, including fares, stops and more on LANTAbus.com.

Whether you leave the car at home, park in an off-satellite lot or one of the convenient garages around the city and take a shuttle from there, or if you’re feet just need a rest and you’re looking for an easier way to get around both the North and South-Sides, you can deck the halls and be merry with ease during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
