THANK YOU, ROME

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania… What a beautiful night, the moon was out, mother nature gave her all. The entire night was beautiful as Sitting on Stacy and G. Love & Special Sauce opened the show for Sublime with Rome, the Farewell Tour. Rome brought all the homies together tonight. I know I saw quite a few of my friends. Rome Ramirez is the current lead singer, and guitarist for Sublime. Rome is also a songwriter, and producer. Always give all the love and respect to the songwriters. Rome brought so much to Sublime, and he will be releasing his own music, and has stated he wants to focus on that but tonight, a sold-out, packed show in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was full of love, and gratitude from Rome, and the fans who came out to show love and support.

Sublime with Rome performed some of the O.G. Sublime songs, and they added in some Fishbone, and they performed a few new songs. The energy was euphoric, and took me back to some genuine incredible memories. I don’t think any of us wanted to genuinely say farewell to Rome but we will still get the incredible music. This show was INSANE, and as “Cool & Collected” as you can ever get. WHY? BECAUSE OF ROME (Who is cutting onions. Oh man.! I didn’t know writers had feelings…)

Sublime with Rome performed an out of this galaxy setlist. They included everything from: “Blessings,” “Skankin’ to the Beat,” (Fishbone cover), “Cool & Collected,” Wrong Way,” (Sublime Cover), “What I Got,” and “Santeria,” “California Radio,” “Black and Blue,” “Mind Control,” and more. Sublime with Rome has done everything from Reggae, Rock, alternative rock, ska punk, and hip hop. They made and make all kinds of music. The music is filled with high vibrations, and you feel Rome, and the band’s love for the music. It was an unforgettable night. Memories were made, we can’t wait to see what is next for Rome. If you get a chance to see Sublime with Rome on tour, GO SEE THEM. Go and have a blast. Sing your entire soul out. Thank you, Rome for the fifteen plus years of music, and forever memories.

Sublime with Rome, the ska alternative rock group from California, was formed in 2010 by Rome Ramirez, Eric Wilson, and Bud Gaugh. With fan-favorite hits such as “Wrong Way”, “Santeria”, “Badfish”, “What I Got”, “Caress Me Down”, “40oz to Freedom” and many more, the band’s concerts are pure sing-along enjoyment from the beginning to end.

The band released its debut album, Yours Truly, on July 12, 2011, and broke the top ten on the Billboard 200. The band toured in support of their hit 2019 album Blessings with singles “Wicked Heart” and “Light On” making a splash on alternative radio. Blessings is the band’s third studio album, and it was helmed by Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, and more. In 2020 Sublime with Rome dominated the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining shows in sheds, amphitheaters, and major festivals worldwide.

Sublime with Rome continued to make waves in 2023, having collaborated with Slightly Stoopid on “Cool & Collected,” the first new release from both groups in several years. A long overdue reunion of sorts, making the track an especially meaningful project given Bradley of Sublime first signed Slightly Stoopid to Skunk Records back in 1996. The group celebrated the release with a joint summer tour full of packed shows across 27 cities following a solo headlined sold-out show at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks.

In late 2023 Sublime with Rome released a brand-new EP, Tangerine Skies. Produced by Rome Ramirez, this EP also enlisted the talents from a super roster of friends and family including Neal Avron, Left Coast Sound, Gabrial McNair, BSAMZ, and more!

Currently, Sublime with Rome has over 279 million all-time streams, and over 580k monthly listeners on Spotify. This is in addition to the legacy statistics which include 10M Spotify monthly listeners. “Santeria” remains the top song with over 740 million Spotify streams. This is followed by “What I Got” with over 464 million streams and “Badfish” with over 187 million streams (stats via Spotify). Sublime with Rome’s final self-titled album, recorded at Sonic Ranch, is a celebration of the last fifteen years and is a thank you to the fans for their love and support on this journey. The album is available everywhere now.” From https://www.sublimewithrome.com/
