Musikfest 2025 dates released while Beck’s unique artwork is displayed well into the fall.

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., August 20, 2024 – While Musikfest 2024 has concluded and dates for next year’s festival have been announced, (Aug. 1- 10 with preview night on July 31), Musikfest Poster Artist, Lauren Beck continues to show off her artistry throughout the ArtsQuest campus. Between her celestial poster design, the 1st Street Bus Stop Mural, teaching classes at the Banana Factory and so much more, Beck continues to contribute immensely to our mission of allowing access to the arts for all.

“Much of my work features bold motifs with dynamic energy and curves, creating compositions that burst with bold motifs, intricate lines and textured details,” describes Beck. “I enjoy expressing my vibrant, celebratory vision on life in my illustrations – adding a sparkle or two for good measure.”

Displayed in the ArtsQuest Center, Beck has created 15 prints and five paint carvings inspired by the celestial designs in the 2024 Musikfest Poster, as well as a few botanical inspired prints. Paint carving is a unique artistic technique that involves applying over 50 layers of acrylic paint onto a wooden base. These layers are then intricately carved using sharp linocut tools, unveiling the vibrant colors beneath. Enjoy the designs from a distance, but don’t forget to take the time to look closely and appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship that reveals the intricate layers beneath each carved mark.

Be sure to check out some of Beck’s incredible work on the first and second floor of the ArtsQuest Center NOW until September 15!
