Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! For Wellness: Glen Park Trailhead – 1:00PM – 3:00PM EDT at Glen Park, 7 Collins Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Join us as we hike through part of the former New York & Susquehanna railroad bed along the Brodhead Creek at the base of Godrey’s Ridge on the Monroe County Broadhead Creek Canyon Open Space Tract. Wildlands Conservancy – Post-Volent Appalachian Bat Count – 8:30PM – 9:30PM EDT at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049. Go batty with us! Pennsylvania’s common bat species often use buildings as their roosts; the barn at DRPWS is one of their favorite haunts. Learn about their population changes – and make a free bat necklace! Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! For Wellness: Bike & Boat, Sand Island – 10:00AM – 2:00PM EDT at Sand Island, 210 River St., Bethlehem PA 18018. Learn more about the coal industry, the canal locks, and life on a canal boat on the Lehigh Canal as you peddle 4 miles on the towpath to Canal Park in Allentown.
