Trouble City All-Stars, Space Kamp, and Sun Bus brought all the love and sunshine to the Musikfest Café.
Bethlehem, PA…, and The Lehigh Valley showed up in FORCE to celebrate and support Trouble City All-Stars ICON, Todd Juknevic. Todd was diagnosed with lung cancer. “In late October of 2023 Todd Juknevic was diagnosed with lung cancer. In early December he had surgery to remove the tumor and pending further tests will determine any future medical procedures. During this time Todd is out of work and unable to play music, and as a result medical and normal life bills are piling up. We are coming together this evening to help alleviate some of those expenses with this benefit concert.”
My friend went with me, and we had a blast. We talked to people around us, and I met a lady who was with her son. They were having a blast. You could genuinely tell that people felt the love.
The incredible band Sun Bus opened the show to a packed beyond packed house. The energy was wild. It was overwhelming to see so many familiar faces, and to see everyone there to support Todd. During Trouble City All-Stars set, Todd promised to give back and keep the good vibes and healing going. Let’s take a moment to talk about Sun Bus, they reminded me of The Budos Band, I totally wanted to hear them play, “Black Venom.”
One thing about me, I LOVE music. I believe music is healing. I believe music takes us places; it gets us through difficult times. Trouble City All-Stars has played all over, and they will be celebrating 16 years together. They are a 4piece reggae/dub/psychedelic “outfit from Bethlehem, PA.” They bring the positive vibes and love through the power of music.
All three of these talented groups performed incredible songs. They had the crowd hyped all night. Trouble City All-Stars stayed until the very last moment. This was such a beautiful night. The power that music, and love has is undeniable. It is the greatest healer we have.
Space Kamp’s Adoo, and Oskee also performed. They joined Trouble City All-Stars on-stage for a few songs. Mother Nature ended the night by sharing some snow with everyone. Space Kamp’s brand-new single “Fly Away” is out now. Space Kamp is an alternative, rap, reggae group from Pennsylvania.
