CARBON TRANSIT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING NOVEMBER 13th

ALLENTOWN, PA —- A public meeting to discuss Carbon Transit’s future plans and get community input will be held November 13th at 10 a.m. in the Carbon County Courthouse, 44 Susquehanna St. in Jim Thorpe. Following the formal presentation, the floor will be open for public comments and suggestions.

“Keeping the public informed and reaching out for recommendations is an important part of how we develop the transit system here in Carbon County,” said AJ Jordan, Manager of Planning and Scheduling.

A public survey will be distributed, with additional options for completion through carbontransit.com, social media platforms, and drop-offs at the Nesquehoning office.

Carbon Transit, which provides fixed route, shared ride, flex services throughout the county, is a division of Allentown-based Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority.
