MACUNGIE – Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) is inviting area senior citizens and their caregivers to his annual Senior Expo on Thursday, Sept. 28. The free event, which is co-sponsored by St. Luke’s University Health Network, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road in Macungie.
“I encourage all seniors and their caregivers to join us,” said Mackenzie. “Our expo brings a variety of service providers together in one place at the same time, making it more convenient to learn about the benefits available to our older residents. My staff and I will also be available to discuss any state-related issue or concern.”
Dozens of exhibitors from local, state, and federal agencies along with a variety of senior-focused organizations will be on hand to offer information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older residents. In addition, there will also be a light lunch provided and door prizes. The door prize drawing will be held at noon.
Vendors interested in having an exhibit at the expo should visit Mackenzie’s website at www.RepMackenzie.com and register under the “Resources” tab.
For more information, please call Mackenzie’s Lower Macungie Township office at 610-965-9933 or 1-833-933-3675 (toll-free).
