The annual Ole Towne Festival is back in town for another exciting weekend of trains, music, arts and crafts, and food. Ole Towne festival weekend is a celebration of the local community and all it has to offer.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing back the Ole Towne Festival for the 35th year,” said Todd Tersigni, Mayor of Phillipsburg. “It’s always a great opportunity for people to come together and enjoy everything our town has to offer.”

Friday June 16th, 2023

  • First Guided Audio Walking Tour: 4:30-5:30 PM FREE starts at Riverside Way Phillipsburg, NJ

The Phillipsburg Self-Paced Audio Walking Tour promotes a deeper understanding and appreciation of our community’s rich past. Participants have the freedom to explore significant historical landmarks and learn about the events, personalities, and milestones that have shaped our town.

  • Grand Opening of Historic Train Station Museum: 5:30-7:30 PM FUNDRAISER 178 South Main Street Phillipsburg, NJ

The Friends of the New Jersey Transportation Heritage Center is excited to announce the long-awaited historic Phillipsburg Union Train Station will finally be opening its doors as a transportation museum. The grand opening fundraiser will feature a ribbon cutting, Phillipsburg High School Band, food, wine beer, dessert on Friday, June 16th at 5:30 pm. A limited number of tickets to this historic event are $100 and 100% of the proceeds go to the further restoration of the Phillipsburg Union Station.

Take a tour in the former CNJ railroad switch tower that has been undergoing a full exterior and interior restoration to show the public the main purpose of this building many years ago.

An open-air market is a great way to support local businesses and artisans Every Sunday June 18 through October 29. Opening Day “DUNK YOUR DAD” in our dunk tank $1 per ball, and you could win an “I Dunked My Dad” t-shirt!!! While supplies last. The first 50 Dads will receive a FREE hot dog! Stop by the information booth for your ticket. Plus, we will have FREE popcorn at the information booth as well as kids’ activities. Music will be provided by Rob Viola.
